There are 6 different body shapes that can be differenciated. To know what is your body type, it is necessary to take into account your:

What are the widest and thinnest parts? Are your hips and shoulders aligned?

Look closely at the shape and size of your clothes. Some body types are not uniform.
Is your top size bigger or smaller than your bottom size? Do you wear the same size top and bottom?

Very feminine silhouette par excellence.
Your shoulders are narrower than your hips. Your upper body is rather small and your chest small. Your waist is sometimes marked.
In general, your pants size is higher than your tops.
Your silhouette is very feminine, emphasize it!
It is necessary to play on the volumes in order to recreate a balance between the top and the bottom. The objective is to emphasize the top to redraw your shoulders while avoiding to reinforce the width of your basin.
Preferable:
Tops with patterns or details at the neck and shoulders. Shouldered tops are suitable. Colorful touches are better on the top than on the bottom.
For the bottom, favor straight cuts in order not to flare your hips even more and create harmony at the level of the legs.
Puffy or floaty items can add volume to your silhouette.

This morphology is similar to the 8 morphology: your shoulders are in line with your hips. The width of your shoulders and your hips is about the same. Your waist is thin and marked.
Generally, the size of your tops is the same as for the bottom.
Your silhouette is slimmer, allow yourself a little more eccentricity!
The goal is to emphasize your waist while keeping a nice balance between your shoulders and hips. Your advantage is that you can wear just about any outfit.
Preferable:
Slim-fitting, body-hugging styles will naturally enhance your shape. You can afford plunging necklines.
The tight pants will fit you perfectly.
The patterns will highlight certain parts of your body and especially your chest. Fluid materials are to be preferred.
Complete your outfit with accessories, belts for the waist, jewelry and scarves for the neck or shoulders.
Stay sober, but play on your assets with softness and harmony for a perfect woman’s silhouette.
To avoid:
Tops that are too tight, turtleneck sweaters can mark your frame. Oversized dresses may not enhance your height.
The sporty silhouette par excellence.
Your shoulders are wider than your hips. Your chest is often generous and your waist not very marked. Your upper body is more marked.
Preferable:
The goal is to draw attention to your lower body by adding volume. Favour flared pieces like skirts or carrot pants (they will naturally put your waist and hips forward). Choose fitted jackets, blazers. These pieces will easily feminize your silhouette.

Do not wear a piece that would reinforce your shoulders. Trench coats, shirts with shoulder pads or models with details on the shoulders should be avoided. Bustiers or printed tops are to be avoided.

Your shoulders are in the same alignment as your hips. Your waist is little or not marked. Your silhouette is fairly straight, with rather square shoulders.

Preferable:
Your silhouette is rather balanced. To emphasize your shape, try not to mark the waist too much. Highlight one part of your body (top / chest / hips).
Choose straight cuts. Choose flowing styles for your upper body to add volume to your silhouette.

To avoid:
Oversized belts that will cut your figure in half.
The voluptuous and feminine silhouette.
This morphology is a variant of the H morphology: it presents the same characteristics, but in a more generous way. Your waist is not marked. Your hips and shoulders are quite wide and square. You have curves all over your body, harmoniously distributed.
Your silhouette and its advantageous curves are enhanced!
Preferable:
The objective is to draw and lengthen your silhouette by bringing structure. Don’t hide behind baggy pieces. Choose flowing clothes with V-necks but not too loose. Add a thin belt to mark the waist.
Straight rather than flared cuts are preferable.
Light colors will bring lightness and freshness.
Complete your outfit with jewelry around the face and neck to draw attention to your upper body.
Heels will elongate your silhouette and feminize your outfit.
To avoid:
Be careful with patterns that will weigh down your silhouette. Clothes that are too loose could break the effect of fluidity you are looking for. Avoid mixing too many colors, especially bright colors.
